Fence repair and gate rehang — Fortitude Valley

Replaced three rotted fence palings and rehung a sagging side gate that wouldn’t close properly in Fortitude Valley. New hinges, new latch, good as new.

The palings had been rotting at the base for a while — a common issue in Brisbane’s humidity. We replaced them with treated pine and gave them a coat of exterior stain to match the existing fence.

The gate was dropping on one side causing it to drag on the ground. Replaced both hinges with heavy duty ones and installed a new magnetic latch. Opens and closes perfectly now.
